James “Buddy” Love McRae was born in Elwood, Texas on August 18, 1929 and passed away on July 18, 2023. He was a Corporal in the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He was a loving Dad and Papa. He married Wanda Charlene Mitchell on November 18, 1950. He has been a resident of Dos Palos since 1950. James is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda and son James. He is survived by his daughter Charlotte (Vance) Eggleston; grandchildren: Brad (Courtney) McRae, Matthew (Kylee) Eggleston, Iysha McRae and John, Cristian (Nick) Plazola, James McRae, Jr., and Sebastian, Haden and Mason McRae. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren: Aiden, Richard, Kennedy McRae, Noah and Malachi Plazola, Blake and Aleena McRae. A Celebration of Life with military honors will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 10:30 AM at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
