passed away late last week unexpectedly following complications from recently diagnosed cancer. She was a resident of Los Banos for more than five decades, and a native of California. Together with her husband Corky of over 50 years, Jan operated an agricultural business serving local farmers on the west side of the central San Joaquin Valley.

In addition to Corky, she is also survived by Jonathan, Stephen, Lance, Sonia, Stephen, and Justin, as well as her brothers, Jerry and John, sisters- and brothers- in law, Diane, Sue, Jack and Charles, and many nieces and nephews, who are all deeply saddened by her sudden passing. She was preceded by her father and mother, as well as her loving sister-in-law from Texas, Betty.

Her family is grateful to the emergency room staff at the Memorial Hospital of Los Banos, the ICU team and staff at Sutter Memorial Center of Modesto, and for the Oncology team and staff at Stanford University’s Medical Center in Palo Alto. Jan’s family is also appreciative for the decades of care provided by Dr. K. Devireddy of Los Banos.

Jan’s life will be celebrated on Friday, February 24th at the Mission De Oro in Santa Nella, California at 11am Pacific Time. For those who wish to make a charitable contributions in her name or to honor her memory, Jan preferred cancer charities such as the American Cancer Society (donate3.cancer.org) and Metavivor (www.metavivor.org), as well as charities supporting United States veterans.
