The fourth annual “Kids Connect Community Celebration” has been announced in a press release out of the Merced County Department of Child Support Services. This year’s theme is “All Teams, One Goal.”
The celebration will take place at the Los Banos branch of the Merced County Library and will take place on Aug 2 from 3-7 p.m.
The annual event aligns with Child Support Awareness month and is a fun and safe place for families to have fun and learn more about the resources available throughout Merced County. Several community partners, clubs and other organizations will add to the fun filled day.
On the threshold of the back-to-school season, this celebration is an excellent source of fun and information with the perks of free school supplies and backpacks while supplies last. Raffle prizes and treats are an exciting part of the festivities.
This free event is celebrated with entertainment, kid-friendly activities, and visits from local dignitaries. Celebrate with the community at 1312 S. Seventh Street in the Pacheco Park Area.
Exhibitors are welcome to take part in the event for free with a ticket. For more information contact Lisa Carpenter at (209) 381-1325, or lisa.carpenter@countyofmerced.com.
