Sandra (Sandy) Fialho passed away, October 26, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Minden, Nevada on May 3, 1946 and relocated to Los Banos in 1963 with her family when her father started working at the Los Banos Reservoir.
Sandy married Daniel Fialho of Los Banos February 6, 1965, they had two children Michael and Melissa.
Sandy enjoyed her many family vacations. She enjoyed snow skiing, cooking for family and travelling.
Sandy had a special love of animals and always had a dog and a cat at her side. Most recently, her dog Brodie and cat Gracie.
The love that she had for her family was unconditional, she never gave up on anyone and opened her home to her loved ones. She was a giving person with a beautiful smile and a loving soul.
Sandy belonged to the Beta Sigma Fi Chapter Receptor Xi Nu of Los Banos. She enjoyed helping the community with their many events and fund raisers.
Preceded in death by her son Michae Fialho in 2023.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Fialho; Daughter Melissa Bertao (Richard); Grandchildren: Justin, Daniel (Desirae), and Michael; Two Great Grandchildren: Captain and Chevy.
Services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026 beginning with a visitation at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel at 9:00 a.m.
The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at the Los Banos Cemetery District.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel.
