The Los Banos Arts Council is inviting local performers and community members to an Open Mic Night on July 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ted Falasco Arts Center. Admission is $10 at the door.
The event will give local residents an opportunity to share their talents in front of a live audience. Poetry, comedy, singing, music, storytelling, spoken word and other types of performances are welcome.
Beginners and first-time performers are encouraged to participate, making the event an open and welcoming space for anyone interested in taking the stage. Performers can reserve a spot by texting 408-561-9561 with their name and the type of performance they plan to present.
Audience members can also attend to enjoy an evening of live entertainment and support local artists. Open mic events bring together people with different talents, experiences and creative interests while giving performers a chance to connect with the community.
Beer and wine will be available during the evening for a suggested donation of $5.
