Helen Kay Clark, 82 years old, a lifetime resident of Dos Palos, CA, passed away on May 11, 2026 at her home in Dos Palos, CA. She was born on September 11, 1943 in Bryan, Texas to William and Winnie (Smith) Thomas.
She married Norman Clark and they were married for 55 years. They raised three children, Jeff Crivelli, Kelly Day and Kurtis Clark.
Helen dedicated her life to serving others. She was a member of the Dos Palos Floral Designers, served on the Board of the Los Banos Spring Fair, the Board of the Merced County Fair and the Board of the Dos Palos Hospital. She was instrumental in doubling the size of the hospital and converting it to a Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was an excellent cook and was always serving friends in need or just to make them happy for a day. Helen also cooked for numerous PCCHA Youth events.
Helen loved horses and spent years taking her son to horse shows, showing her horse at Quarter Horse shows, traveling and giving support to her husband at Cutting Horse events throughout the western states and Canada. Also Helen worked with her husband to provide horses for over 20 years to a Lions Camp for Hearing Impaired children.
Helen is loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. While we grieve her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is in the loving arms of her precious Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Winnie Thomas, brother Billie Thomas and her son Kurtis Clark.
Helen is survived by her Husband Norman Clark, children; Jeff Crivelli and Kelly Day, one brother Mike Thomas of Lodi, CA and many family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 am at The Del Hale Hall on 931 Center Ave., Dos Palos, CA 93620.
