From Feb. 13 to 14, the Firebaugh Future Farmers of American (FFA) chapter had the opportunity to take seven sophomores to the Made for Excellence Conference (MFE) in Visalia.

This conference is a leadership experience hosted by the California FFA State Officer Team designed to help members learn the leadership truths, discover their personal values and build confidence as leaders within their chapters and communities.

The Firebaugh FFA chapter members spent two days interacting with students from other chapters, meeting new friends and reconnecting with old friends.

Throughout the conference, they participated in workshops that taught them about leadership and what leadership truly means. After MFE, they returned home motivated, inspired and ready to use their leadership skills in their community.
