In their recent game, the Los Banos High School girls softball team played El Capitan High School and won with a 13–0 victory.

The Tigers offense came alive early, with the team jumping to an early lead and never looking back. The Tigers made a series of hits that kept El Capitan’s defense on their heels.

By the time the game reached its final innings, the Tigers had put up 13 runs, with multiple players contributing to the scoreboard.

Tigers pitcher Mya Arista held El Capitan’s offense scoreless throughout the game. The Tigers commanded the game with control and various pitches.

The fielders, led by Shayla Hernandez, reacted to any balls hit their way, turning double plays and making crucial outs to prevent any scoring opportunities. Each team member supported one another to ensure no one got by them.

At the bat, Hillary Morales led the way with five RBI. Hernandez, Mikayla Luna, Jaylee Smith and Grace Orozco played a part in their final score of 13–0, each getting some runs in for their team. The Tigers will need to keep winning in order to have a chance at the postseason.
