On Jan. 23, the Los Banos Tigers girls basketball squad (145 overall, 2–2 in the Central California Conference) routed the Buhach Colony Thunder by 60–20 to even their CCC record at 2–2.
The Tigers used a balanced offensive effort with 10 girls finding the hoop, led by Siena Freitas, who recorded game-high scoring honors with 14 points.
Cassidy Barcellos (9 points) followed Freitas, with Ciana Howard (8 points), Bryanna Lonnon (8 points), Gabby Romo (6 points), Kanin Welch (5 points), and Katelyn Ramirez (4 points) coming next. Brooke Barton and Avery Vierra each scored 2 points.
The Tigers will complete its first round of the CCC action on Jan. 28 when they travel to Merced to face the Merced Bears.
