That depends on what you want. Dieting properly means you will lose weight but may not feel like exercising. Exercising means you will gain fitness but may gain weight.

It is difficult to both lose weight and get fit, so where to start? Fitness!

A 30 min brisk walk or a 10 minute jog cannot be undone, but I can starve all week and then lose all progress with my weekend football pizza and beer.

Dieting requires self-discipline and denial every day. Exercise requires 30 minutes three times a week. Linemen and heavyweight boxers have the lowest risk of heart attack. I say go for health where your fitness is more important than your weight!
