Editor, The Express,

I am concerned about the preferential treatment given to a new business located in a historical theater building, while other new businesses in town do not receive the same level of promotion. As taxpayers, it is crucial that our city hall spends our hard-earned money equally among all businesses.

While it is important to support the growth of local businesses, fairness and equality should be at the forefront of our efforts. Unfortunately, it appears that certain new businesses are being given preferential treatment in terms of promotion and support, leaving others struggling to gain the same visibility and recognition.

Historical theater buildings hold great cultural and architectural significance in our community, and their restoration and utilization should be encouraged. However, we must not neglect other businesses in town that are equally deserving of support and recognition.

To ensure a thriving local economy, all businesses should be provided with equal opportunities to showcase their products and services. This not only promotes fairness but also fosters healthy competition, innovation and growth within our community.

I urge our city hall to review their policies and practices in promoting new businesses. It is essential that resources and promotional efforts are allocated in a transparent and unbiased manner. By doing so, we can create an environment where all businesses can flourish, contributing to the economic well-being of our town.

In conclusion, promoting new businesses should be based on equal opportunities for all, rather than favoritism towards certain establishments. Let us work together to ensure that our taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and impartially, supporting the growth and success of all businesses in our community.
