On Feb. 27 at approximately 2:40 p.m., the Los Banos Police Department Gang Unit and Investigations Bureau executed a residential search warrant in the 1500 Block of Tanner Rd.
During the search of the home, investigators located an unregistered firearm and a suspected controlled substance.
The resident, 39-year-old Jorge Munguia of Los Banos, is prohibited from possessing any firearms and or ammunition.
Munguia was placed under arrest for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for possession of a controlled substance. Munguia was booked into the Los Banos Police Department jail with bail set at $100,000.00.
