Leon moved to Dos Palos, California with his family when he was 5 years old.
Leon was a loving husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Papa.
Leon worked for CCID for over 30 years,
Before becoming ill Leon loved to go fishing, frogging and go hang out with all his buddy’s at the coffee shop.
Leon is survived by his three children, one son in law and two daughter-in-laws Lenora and Mike Costa, Rick and Linda Rippee, Jeff and Barbara Rippee, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and one brother.
Leon is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Cecelia Rippee parents Jess and Velma Rippee, his grandson Brian Costa and many other loved ones.
Graveside services will be held-at Dos Palos district cemetery on Tuesday November the 7th at 11:00am a reception will follow.
