The Los Banos Veterans Parade is quickly approaching, to be held Saturday, Nov. 4, in downtown Los Banos. This year’s theme is “Salute to the Air Force,” but all veterans will be honored.
The deadline for parade entries is fast approaching. Anyone who would like to be in the parade needs to complete the parade entry form located on the veterans’ website, losbanosveterans.org, by Oct. 19. We are hoping many local veterans join us by registering and being part of the parade.
The veterans’ parade committee recently met to discuss the entries that have already been received, review the list of sponsorship names for the banners that will be at each of the two announcer stands, go over VIP seating, determine where we need volunteers are needed and so much more.
Over the next two weeks leading up to the parade, entry information will be typed for the announcers, the staging line-up will be determined and a timeline of events and tasks will be solidified.
