Easter is only a week and a half away. The celebration of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is nearly upon us. This is always an important day for Christians and it should be for the whole world as well.
You see, Jesus didn’t just come to this earth to suffer and die just for Christians, He came to save everyone.
I want to share an important fact with you, God loves you very much. He loves you so much that He sent His only Son to suffer and die on a cross to become the perfect sacrifice to pay for our sins.
Friday isn’t the end of the story. Sunday is on the way. The reason we can call the day of Jesus death “Good Friday” is because we know that He rose from the dead on Sunday.
He died so that we can die to our past sins. He rose so that we can rise with abundant life on this earth and eternal life in heaven.
He is not a way to God, He is THE WAY to God because He is the only One who has paid the price to reconnect us with God.
Jesus didn’t die just to fix us or remodel us, He died to make us a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 puts it this way, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” NIV
We are planning an amazing service for the Easter Sunday, Apr 9 at 10:30am. Our Easter celebration will include special songs by our Bethel Kids, an amazing video by our Bethel Youth together with our Bethel Kids, heartfelt worship and an inspiring message followed by communion.
