On Thursday, Oct. 20, the Los Banos Tiger Frosh football team traveled to Lathrop to battle the undefeated Spartans.
The Tigers were no match for the young Spartans, as Lathrop defeated Los Banos 37-6.
Jaden Santos and Pablo Pena accounted for five touchdowns as the Spartans rolled to their fifth consecutive victory in 2022.
The one bright spot for the Tigers on offense was a 32-yard scoring pass from Ryan Jones to Jack Goodger.
Several Tigers had stellar performances on defense. Gustavo Ruiz recorded nine tackles for Los Banos, Joseph Villagrana had seven stops, Alan Moran, A.J. Valencia, and Angel Arce had five tackles each.
