Los Banos City Fire Department was dispatched to the 1600 block of Banbury Court in Los Banos on Saturday, May 28, at 12:23 a.m. for a residential fire.
Two firetrucks responded along with Merced County Fire to the call.
Upon arrival, the units discovered that the residence was fully involved, however nobody was home.
Los Banos Police officers assisted by evacuating neighboring homes for precautionary reasons.
Fire units were able to contain the blaze by 12:46 a.m., but remained on scene for several hours to maintain control of the structure.
No injuries were reported and the cause is still under investigation.
