Two Los Banos High School students, Kylie Hurd and Makenna Silveira, were recognized at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Event held in Clovis.  Kylie Hurd and her team of Anne’s Warriors raised $182,438 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and was awarded a $1,000 college scholarship, the 2022 LLS Mission Award and a trip to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society National Convention. Makenna Silveira  and her Team Silveira raised over $90,000 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and was given the opportunity to name a Portfolio Research Grant.
