The local American Legion and VFW members are still selling raffle tickets to support the Los Banos Veterans Parade. If you have not purchased your tickets yet, time is running out. The drawing is less than two weeks away. The drawing will be held on July 9.
We have awesome prizes that we know you would love to win.
The Grand Prize is a $500 Save Mart Gift Card followed by the second winner who will receive a $300 Gift Certificate to Espanas Southwest Bar & Grill located at 460 E. Pacheco Blvd. The third winner will receive a $250 Gift Certificate to Biggins Texas BBQ, located at 609 I St., and the fourth winner will receive eight Free Car Washes at Los Banos Car Wash, located at 823 W. Pacheco Blvd.
As the community is aware, the business that provided the prize for the fourth winner had a fire, which has closed the facility. If they do not reopen by the time of the drawing, we will substitute the listed prize for a $200 Visa Gift Card instead.
We hope those who have purchased tickets to be understanding about the prize substitution as no one could have foreseen this unfortunate situation.
The price of tickets are $5 for one ticket or $20 for a book of five tickets.
