Brother Darrell many cousins, Brother and sister in laws, nephews. nieces, many friends and family members. Smokey will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, provider, Pop Papa, Anthony, Or just “Smoke”. He showed his Love through helping anyone who needed it, Loved People loved “shooting the breeze” one of his sayings, he had the gift of “Gab”. Loved life in general, He..in his younger days was a well known farm mechanic for Nylander and Sorenson for 14 years. He was a rancher Loved to race cars, drove truck.. Met his other half Debra in 1974..married in 1977 . .retired from Nylanders after 14 years raising 3 sons and started New Business Simple Simon. Mini Mart. Sold business after 17 years..reinvented himself again into a construction Business..from his experience from the school of “hard knocks” ..self taught..the real world experiences.. He never really retired .. he just enjoyed keeping busy fixing things..he will be known as the Man with the tools..and the “jack of all trades” bar Born Harrell Anthony Delerio was named “Smokey” by his Grandfather Fay..it Stuck..not to many people.. knew his real name. Born and raised in Dos Palos. Met Debbie in 1974 and married in 1977..almost 49 years..during which 3 sons raised and 7 grandchildren later..He loved his motorhome, loved camping, loved his friends, his family, our pets, golfing 49’ers, nascar racing, drag racing, westerns, old movies and especially oldies music..He will be so missed by his family “forever in our hearts” and ” forever young” Memorial Service August 1st Bill Cantrell Barn. 16419 Bryant Ave. Dos Palos, Calif
