On April 17 Los Banos Elementary School Principal Alberto Felix agreed to a memorable event for all the students.
As a reward for their commitment to perfect attendance, 258 students earned the opportunity to have some fun.
With the help of some very sticky tape, the students began taping Felix to a wall on the playground.
Even more impressive were the 91 students who earn “double tape” for achieving perfect attendance across two qualifying periods.
Each student took turns taping Felix to the wall from ankle to head.
After about 45 minutes of all students, faculty and board trustees applying tape to Felix, it was time to see if he would permanently stick to the wall.
The small stool he was standing on was removed and he fell to the ground to the laughter of everyone.
