On March 18, the Los Banos Tiger boys tennis team (3-1 CCC) defeated the Atwater Falcons, sweeping all nine matches to improve to 3-1, and second place in the Central California Conference behind the Merced Bears.

The Tigers claimed all six singles matches and then won their three doubles contests en route to the nine match seep.

Tiger number one player, Justin Gould, won his match in straight sets, 6-0 and 6-4, followed by number two player, Chase Fifield, who claimed his match 6-1 and 7-5 (tiebreaker) set victories.

Nick Tova won in straight sets by scores of 6-0 and 6-1, while Yahir Zuniga defeated his Falcon opponent in two sets as well, 6-2 and 6-2.

Noah Cardenas and Tyler Meza rounded out the singles matches, as they both claimed 6-0, 6-0 wins in the fifth and sixth matches.

For Los Banos, their number one doubles team of Nelson Fabian and Drake Fifield claimed straight set wins with scores of 6-0 and 6-1.

Alexis Reyna and Gracian Indart won their match 6-0 and 6-1 for the Tigers number two team, while Sebastian Paloni and Brody Benton finished off the 9-0 sweep of the Falcons with 6-0 and 6-1 set victories.
