Firefighters work to remove the male driver from the cab of a pickup truck Sunday afternoon. The driver a Dodge pickup at approximately 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the backyard fence of a home on the corner of 11th St. and Jackson Avenue in Los Banos. The vehicle, traveling southbound on 11th Street, went through the fence and ended up on top of a red Mercedes that was parked in the backyard of a home in the 1000 block of Jackson Avenue.
The driver was unresponsive as firefighters and paramedics removed him from the vehicle and air-lifted him to a Modesto Hospital where his condition is unknown.
A male passenger in the truck was unharmed. The police said the cause of the accident is unknown and is being investigated. The extent of damage to the house is also unknown.
