Hello again Westside Gardeners.

I watched the raindrops roll slowly down the windowpanes while listening to the gentle taps of water hitting the window and the soft brush of rain on the grass and young tender foliage on trees outside.

The scene outside the window was blurred by the lines of water. But it didn’t matter, I had the image ingrained in my mind from all the afternoons spent staring out the same window.

This is where I do my writing, as well as Landscape Architecture drafting.

The soft grass on the ground, since it’s spring, was a lovely shade of velvet green. The cloud filled sky, softy merged with mist and rain shrouded the Ash tree that I know well. I heard a gentle gust of wind shake the new leaves and watched the drops dance into the grass.

The spring flowers, also enjoying the cool showery conditions ignite an inner smile, the kind that burns warm and long.

They are like candle flames, their colors as light in darkness illuminating our world after a cool wet winter.

Songbirds, remarkably active, transforming their lives. Inviting insects to taste the nectar of new flowers and munch on their burgeoning greenery.

The rain drops and blustery winds continue, bringing me happiness and a passion for life.
