T the Los Banos Tiger boys volleyball team lost a home match to the Mountain House Mustangs, in four sets on Wednesday, April 12.. 

After Sebastian Ramirez slammed home the decisive 25th point in the first set of a 25-23 set win, the Tigers lost three consecutive sets to the Mustangs. 

Mountain House won the second set 25-14, the third set 25-17 and fourth and final set by the score  of 25-17. 

Tiger coach J.T. Barcellos praised his team’s effort, against the very powerful and undefeated Mustangs. The Tiger victory in the first set was just the second set loss for Mountain House all season. 

Barcellos praised Jayson Erratchu, Evan Rebosa, and Brandon Diaz for their hard work all night on the court. 

In the JV contest, the young Tigers split their first two sets with the Mustangs, losing 25-17 in the first set and winning the second set 25-21 as Luke Reyna slammed home the decisive 25th point. 

The Mustangs came back to win the tiebreaker set by the score of 15 to11. Despite the loss, several Tigers had fine games, twin brother, Yahir and Byron Zuniga, Jordan Incaprera, Caleb Avalos, Kaven Parriera and Elijah Garcia were all over the court for Los Banos.
