Los Banos Police Officers responded to a call at 11:31 p.m. on Friday, March 9, of a vehicle into a residence in the 800 block of Birch Avenue in Los Banos
According to Los Banos Police Commander, Ray Rena, upon arrival the officers determined that Gilardi Mataacosta, age 32, of Los Banos was driving east on Birch Avenue and made an unsafe turning movement resulting in the vehicle leaving the road, overturning and eventually crashing into a residence.
Mattaacosta display symptoms of alcohol intoxication, Reyna said. No injuries were reported and Mataacosta was booked into jail for driving under the influence before being released with a notice to appear in court.
