The Dos Palos Lions Club would like to finally announce the winners of the second annual Christmas Home Decorating contest. We apologize for the delay, but there was a problem with the trophies and they had to be sent back and reworked.
The overall winner was Tony Fuentes. First place in the city was Badillo Flores and second place was Ray Mendez. In the county, first place was Brad Coburn and second place was Franklin Azevedo. These winners may pick up their awards at City Hall.
Also, the long-awaited refurbishing of Del Hale Hall is scheduled to start in late April and the work should hopefully take one year. In the meantime, anyone who is scheduled to rent the hall starting this May will need to find an alternative site. Any deposits made will, of course, be returned.
