In the crosstown matchup of high school girls volleyball, between the visiting Los Banos Tigers and the host Pacheco Panthers on Sept. 22, it was no contest. The Panthers shut out the Tigers in three straight sets.

Pacheco won the first set by the score of 25-7 and then claimed the second set 25-20.

Es’ence Walker secured the third set and match victory when she slammed home the decisive shot in the Panthers 25-9 win.

The Panthers(8-5, 4-3 WAC) used the outstanding play of Sophia O’Brien, Abi Pikas, Kameryn Cortinas, Daisy Rivera and Walker to completely dominate the visiting Tigers. Los Banos dropped to 4-9 overall and 3-4 in the WAC conference
