Have you ever wondered how the local American Legion and VFW veterans serve the community of Los Banos? Maybe you are a veteran or know one and are curious about how to join or even why to join. Perhaps you are already familiar with the great things these two posts provide and want to show your support.

We are excited to share the news that the local American Legion #166 and VFW #2487 have just launched a brand new, completely revamped, top of the line website:  losbanosveterans.org

On this website, you will be able to learn more about these particular posts and how they work together to serve veterans and the community. You will learn how veterans can utilize the ATLAS pod for their VA medical appointments and also how meeting with a veterans service officer can assist the veteran and their family. You will also be able to check the calendar of events to see what these busy veterans will be doing next. Maybe you have seen all the flags around the community on patriotic holidays, the commemorative plaques that honor local veterans or have heard about the amazing Los Banos Veterans Parade. You can find information about all these things and more by frequently visiting the new website.

For the convenience of the community and with the Los Banos Veterans Parade only eight weeks away, you can visit the website to complete an online parade entry form if you would like to participate in the parade. However, maybe you would prefer to be behind the scenes and would like to volunteer to help. There are many opportunities to volunteer and you can fill out a volunteer form on our website.

We are pleased to have our website to serve as a vessel of information for veterans of  Los Banos, the surrounding communities and anyone who appreciates those who served their country.
